Curriculum Vitae of Nadine Felber

 

Expertise/Research field:
With a background in practical Philosophy, Nadine Andrea Felber is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics at the University of Basel, Switzerland. She started a Master of Law at the University of Lausanne and then pursued a Master of Political, Legal and Economic Philosophy at the University of Bern, where she brought the fields of Data and Philosophy together in her Master Thesis, which focused on the ethical end epistemological impacts of wearables on human beings.
She is currently working on a SNF-funded project which investigates the implications of Smart Home Technology in healthcare and nursing. In addition, she is pursuing a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in Healthcare Management at the University of Bern. Her main focus in research lies on dignity, and epistemology in relation to new technologies.
