Anis Arioua holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a Master's degree in the Management of Pharmaceutical Companies and Medical Technologies, and a Master's degree in Biomedical Research. He has an extensive experience in the global regulatory affairs of pharmaceuticals and medical technologies. He is currently a full-time PhD candidate at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics.
His work focuses on beta-thalassemia - hematological condition requiring regular blood transfusions. He explores the experiences of beta-thalassemia patients and healthcare providers through empirical research, examining the burden of the disease on both groups and its impacts on their lives.
