We are inviting you to a session on 24th of March at 18:30 – 20:00 focusing on “Building a career in biomedicine". We have invited two very successful biomedical research leaders to give us a glimpse into their success and the challenges they have faced while working in academia and biomedicine.
• Prof. Daniela Finke, a professor researching developmental immunology at the Medical faculty of the University of Basel, and senior physician at the University Children’s Hospital Basel. She is the co-founder and president of the non-profit organization KOSMOS Space.
• Prof. Primo Schär, Dean of the Medical Faculty and a professor in the Department of Biomedicine at the University of Basel. Prof Schär’s group investigates biological processes that modulate genome plasticity
